Scott Guenther is the Managing Shareholder of State Tax Solutions and has enjoyed spending the past thirty years exclusively in the field of State and Local Taxation. Prior to co-founding State Tax Solutions in 1999, he was a SALT Manager with KPMG.

Professional Experience

Scott has extensive consulting experience in the area of Payroll and Unemployment Taxes as well as Income/Franchise, Sales & Use, Unclaimed Property, and other State and Local Taxes. He has significant experience relating to the Federal, State and Local Payroll & Unemployment Tax consequences and opportunities arising from business restructurings, mergers, and acquisitions.

Scott has been involved in providing value added State and Local Tax services to a broad range of large publicly traded and privately held employers, private equity firms, as well as the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry.

In addition, Scott and his team have provided their expertise to Florida Employers UI Task Force and have been integral in achieving successful Legislative reform. These successful efforts have been essential in providing significant tax relief to all Florida employers.
